GARY "B3" VOLLER
GARY 'B3' VOLLER Gary has been "Groovin'" on the Hammond Organ, keyboards and singing since his first Pro Gig at age 13 when he had to "sneak in the back door of nightclubs 'cos he wasn't old enough to be in there". He has performed in the Cape Cod area and throughout New England, from New York to the Canadian border, since 1977 with various bands and artists including Connection, Freestyle, The Jim Miller Project, The Dan Lawson Band and The Soulcats, which he founded in 2001 and left in 2003, to put together the current "Funky" Pocketfull of Soul Project with a talented, funky, soulful cast of fellow musicians, most of whom, he has worked with over the years in the business.

Gary's influences are varied and lean heavily towards Classic R&B, Soul, and Funky Blues by artists such as Ray Charles, Otis Redding, B.B. King, Tower of Power, Delbert McClinton, James Brown, Jimmy Smith and Dr. John to name but a few. He has performed recently in concert with the Jr. Walker Allstar Band, a 60's Motown "Hit-Making Machine" STILL featuring the group's original drummer, Bill "Stix" Nicks, and has also shared the same stage with the Four Tops, The Contours and Freda Payne. He's most at home singing and playing anything with a soulful edge and feel that he "connects" with the audience on some level and makes 'em "Feel the Music".

Gary's Motto:

"Gotta have that big 'ol, sweet, juicy, funky, fat, R&B backbeat that ya can sink your teeth into!" "Gotta have ‘The Feel’ and a ‘soulful’ edge. . otherwise why bother"
